Marta Vidal

Founder · Licensed tour guide

I was born in Alfama, studied Art History and spent eight years guiding big groups on double-decker buses — until I realised nobody remembers a country seen through a window.

In 2019 I founded Andorinha: one van, seven seats and routes designed in detail, from the Douro to the Algarve. I speak Portuguese, English and Spanish, and I always know where the best pastéis stop.

Reviews

People who flew with us

★★★★★

Marta turned a Douro trip into a history lesson with a glass in hand. Lunch at the quinta was worth the whole journey.
Beatriz M. · Lisboa — Douro wine day

★★★★★

Seven people max makes all the difference. We skipped every queue in Sintra and had Cabo da Roca almost to ourselves.
James & Priya · London — Sintra & Cabo da Roca

★★★★★

Petiscos, ginjinha and neighbourhood stories you won’t find in guidebooks. Three and a half hours that felt too short.
Carla F. · Braga — Alfama & viewpoints

★★★★★

Praia da Marinha at 9 am, before the crowds — worth every cent. Marta times the day like a conductor.
Henrik S. · Copenhagen — Algarve coast
