Three generations, one workbench
- 1987
Mr. Manuel Mira opens the shop on Rua da Costeira, with one cabinet of frames and one box of lenses.
- 1994
The first in-house exam room — no more trips to Coimbra for a refraction done properly.
- 2003
The second generation joins the shop. Progressives arrive, fitted in-house at the back bench.
- 2012
Big renovation: the azulejo façade stays, everything else changes. The bench, though, is the same one.
- 2019
Digital biometer and corneal mapping — precision takes a leap, the welcome stays the same.
- 2024
The third generation brings the virtual try-on and this website. Mr. Mira still drops by on Tuesdays.
