Scope and quotes
Every project starts with a written, fixed-scope quote. The price agreed is the price paid; changes to scope are quoted separately before any extra work starts.
Payments
Unless agreed otherwise: 50% to start, 50% on delivery, via the client portal (card, SEPA) or bank transfer. Documents issued through the platform are commercial invoices; fiscal documents are issued separately under Portuguese law.
Delivery and revisions
Scope and delivery milestones are agreed in writing in the accepted proposal for each project. Revisions within the agreed scope are part of the process. Agreed dates assume client decisions and content arrive promptly when requested.
Ownership
On final payment you own 100% of the project code and content. Domains, hosting and third-party accounts are registered in your name from day one. Open-source components remain under their own licenses.
Care plans
Optional, monthly, cancellable at any time with 30 days notice. They cover hosting management, updates, backups and small changes as described in the plan.
Digital products (templates and ebooks)
These terms apply when you buy a website template or an ebook on feitura.com. The seller's full identification, contacts and complaints book are on the Seller identification page.
What you buy and the licence. A template licence covers one (1) production website, yours or a client's; its full terms travel inside the download (LICENCE.txt). An ebook licence is personal, for one reader: you may keep copies on your own devices and print them for your own use, but you may not share, redistribute, resell or publish the files, in whole or in part. Short quotations permitted by copyright law are unaffected. The copyright stays with Feitura.
Price and payment. The price shown is the full price, with no additional charges. Payment is processed by Stripe, with the payment methods the order form names; we never see your card. The fatura-recibo is issued separately and sent to your email.
How the order works. Fill in the order form, tick the two boxes and press “Order with obligation to pay”; you then check your details and pay on Stripe’s page, where you can still correct them or go back. Nothing is charged until you pay. The contract is concluded in the language of the page you order from (English or European Portuguese). We keep a record of your order; the confirmation email and your account give you access to it and to these terms.
Delivery. Immediately after the payment is confirmed, by download links on the confirmation page, sent to your email and kept in your account on feitura.com. The links in the email work for 7 days; after that, your files stay in your account. A template is delivered as an encrypted ZIP file, with its password.
Ebook editions and updates. An ebook purchase includes both editions, English and European Portuguese, each as PDF and EPUB, in the version current on the day you buy, and every later version with the same major number (for a 1.x purchase, every 1.x) at no charge: your account always offers the newest one, and we email you when one is published. A later major edition (2.0 or above), if there is one, is not included.
Where we sell the ebook. We do not sell the ebook to buyers in the United Kingdom. If the billing address or the card of an ebook payment is from the United Kingdom, we hold the delivery until we have checked, and refund the payment in full if we cannot deliver.
Right of withdrawal. Consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content supplied immediately, that right ends when the download is made available — but only if you expressly asked for immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose the right (article 17(1)(l) of Decree-Law 24/2014). The checkout asks for this in its own checkbox, and the order confirmation we email records your consent word for word. Without that consent we cannot deliver immediately, so we do not take the order. Until the files are made available to you (for example, while a Multibanco payment is still pending), you keep the right of withdrawal: to use it, tell us through the contacts on the Seller identification page, or simply don’t pay the reference, and we cancel the order and refund anything you have paid.
Conformity. Digital content must match its description and work as described. You have 2 years of legal guarantee for lack of conformity (Decree-Law 84/2021). If a file is missing, damaged or does not match its description, tell us and we will fix or replace it free of charge. If we cannot, if we do not do it within a reasonable time, or if the lack of conformity is serious, you are entitled to a price reduction or, unless the lack of conformity is minor, to terminate the contract and have the price refunded.
Your account. When you buy, we create an account for your email address, or add the purchase to the account you already have, so you can download again. You can ask us to close it; we keep the order record for as long as tax law requires.
Support. Reply to your order confirmation. Questions about using a template or reading an ebook are welcome; adapting a template, hosting and integrations are separate services.
Liability
We build carefully and test on real devices, but no software is defect-free. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the project in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under Portuguese law.
