A book-paper-and-plum site for a bookshop in Évora: twelve books a week with typographic covers, a mood filter (laugh, cry, think, escape, fall asleep), reservations held seven days, Thursday events with counted seats and RSVP, and a book club waiting list. No online shop, on purpose — reserve here, collect there.

An independent bookshop cannot out-stock a marketplace, so the site sells the thing a marketplace cannot: a person's choice, a room, a Thursday. It has to make reserving a chosen book and saying 'I'm coming' to an event as easy as a click, without pretending to be a shop.
